McQueen British kittens are born and lovingly raised in the family home which they share with my family and my dogs, they are handled daily from birth and by the time they leave they are socialised and used to the usual chaos and noises of a busy household.
My kittens leave home not earlier than 12 weeks and are registered and leave with a four generation pedigree, Each kitten is vet checked at least twice from head to toe before going to their new home. Each litter is vaccinated with a 3-way killed distemper series (PCT), rabbies, microchiped, wormed and parents of litters are tested for tritrichomonas at time of breeding.
Kittens are available to suitable loving homes only, or for top show neuters. You are always welcome to come and meet me and my kittens. My contract includes a Health Genetic Guarantee. I do care about my kittens and offer to give help and second opinions.

More About My Kittens
My British babies are raised with lots of love and attention, and are as sweet as they are beautiful! I handle them daily from the day they are born, and nurture each kitten so that they develop into wonderful Individuals. I know that the closer my kittens bond with there new families, the more wonderful life they will have - - - so I work very hard to give each kitten the most loving and social start possible. I strive to match each kitten with a family that fits their individual personalities, as I want them to become family members, and not just pets.
McQueen's kittens are the result of carefully planned breeding of my top quality cats, and I am able to breed the best combinations from both of our locations. Cat's temperaments are highly heredity, and so only the best quality cats, with outstanding temperaments, are selected for breeding. My breeding program's emphasis is placed on improving genetic development of the breed, socialization and beauty.
My kittens remain with me for at least 12 weeks, and are raised underfoot as integral parts of my family. Each kitten receives plenty of love, attention, and handling - with plenty of daily playtime! Feline behavior studies have shown that the most critical window for socializing felines is during their 2nd through 5th weeks of life, with continued reinforcement throughout their lifetimes. During this critical 2-to-5-week period, I condition each of my kittens' to associate the human scent, and voice, with pleasantness, and affection. The result is wonderfully socialized cats that seek human companionship, and interaction.
British Shorthair Kittens – Often imitated, NEVER duplicated.
I take the time to get to know the personality of each kitten, and help continue to develop into well-socialized, self confident, loving cats. Each kitten has an individual personality, and I strive to "match" kittens with their new families, so that the bond forms that will make them more of a family member, than "just a pet." Of course, the rewards of such a relationship between a family, and their British is indescribable, and will bring you years of love and joy.
On my web site, I introduce you to the different members of my breeding program, from which I share a lot of information about me. But, if your location permits, I highly encourage that you arrange a visit to my cattery, so that you may become more familiar with my different cats, and visit the environment that your British Shorthair kitten is coming from. During your visit, several British cats, of many different ages will greet you, and you can see and experience, first hand, the various colors, patterns, and unique personalities of my cats. You will get the opportunity to meet your kitten's parents, and get a better idea of what your kitten may look like when he, or she, is fully-grown.
One of my biggest responsibilities, as a Breeder, is to place my kittens into homes where I believe they will have happy and safe lives. I encourage people to carefully consider the responsibilities that come with adopting a kitten, which includes their commitment to take care of their British family member for his, or her, entire lifetime.
Just because I place one of my kittens into a pet home, does NOT mean that he, or she, is a pet quality kitten! Many of my best quality kittens are placed into loving homes where they will spend their lives as pampered pets. A few kittens will be placed as show cats with fellow quality-oriented Exhibitors, who share my philosophies on care and treatment of cats. Placing a kitten, with breeding rights, has as much to do with the quality of the individual kitten, as it does with the quality of the individual breeding program that they would become members of. I am advocates of strict spay/neuter contracts, and do not believe an animal should be bred, unless the breeding is geared to helping to improve the breed.
British Shorthair are an extremely placid breed, and seem happiest in homes that have one other pet (though, like anything, there are exceptions to the rule). I love to have my British Shorthairs living in homes together and encourage adopting pairs especially if no other pets are within the home. I use written contracts, which include health guarantees. Cats placed as pets, will be spayed/neutered.
